Pembroke, Massachusetts, September 8, 2012
Girls' Field Hockey Added to PCMC's Music and Sports Production Series

Pembroke Community Media Center, Inc. (PCMC) right here in Pembroke, MA announces the addition of Girls' Field Hockey coverage to its Pembroke High School (PHS) Music and Sports Production Series.

Deanna Hatch, whose daughter plays on PHS's Titan's team, braved the rain  to film Tuesday, September 4th's opening home game against Brockton.  We won't ruin the suspense for those who haven't watched it yet, but we can say it's a good game for Pembroke fans.  Catch the thrills 24-hours/day at yourpcmc.com.

PCMC, Inc. regularly shares programming with local PEG access TV stations, like Brockton's Community Access station, BCA, which will be
playing the September 4th Girls' Field Hockey game filmed, edited, and produced by Pembroke volunteers right here in Pembroke.

“Once I knew what an exciting game it was,” said a Pembroke volunteer, “I wanted to get it edited and out to the public right away. The whole thing was done by Wednesday night.”

Jay Miller at BCA said he was glad to be getting programming from PCMC, since they in Brockton were unable to attend the Pembroke/Brockton game.  BCA channels reach over 94,000 households.

Ms. Hatch likewise was happy to be instrumental in providing programming to such a big audience.
Deanna said, “They must have seen me filming at the game, and wanted to see it on TV.”

Pembroke Community Media Center, Inc.(PCMC) is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts non-profit organization that receives no money or equipment from either the town or the cable company.  It is run by Pembroke community volunteers, and funded by private donations.  Local programming plays round-the-clock at www.yourpcmc.com.
