Pembroke Farmers Market & Mike Muzyka August 25th, 2012

Pembroke Community Media Center, Inc.(PCMC) covered the Pembroke Farmer's Market on the Town Green August 25th with student volunteers Ethan and Andrew McCue filming, and long-time Pembroke resident and PCMC  volunteer Louise Tanderes interviewing vendors and shoppers alike.

Supplying the morning's entertainment from the bandstand was 25-year Pembroke resident guitar soloist and composer, Mike Muzyka who played an original composition giving tribute to his daughter Melanie, as well as many classic and uplifting cover songs that added a pleasant tone to the morning air.

The farmers market is in its 3rd season, and will run until the 28th of September selling local items.

Join PCMC this Saturday September 1st on The Town Green for filming of  the Pembroke Farmers Market's 2nd Annual Coat Drive for Big Brother, Big Sister and  the Red Cross. The hope is to collect coats early enough to allow distribution before cold weather arrives. Please drop your outerwear off in front of the bandstand on Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon.
