JOHN HENRY O'KEEFE'S VIDEO-MAKING DEBUT

Pembroke student John Henry O'Keefe filmed the Saturday, November 10th, Scouting for Food event at the Community Center.  As food was dropped off and sorted by cub scouts, boy scouts, girl scouts and others; he was there capturing the action with a big, professional camera set on a tall tripod.

John's ability to zoom in and out animated this video even more.

Picking up a camera and using it are the first steps towards becoming proficient, and it's no surprise that John Henry seems to have a natural talent.  His uncle, Kevin O'Keefe, was instrumental in starting Pembroke's Public Cable Access station over 25 years ago with Campbell Cable.

In the video, John conducts two interviews, shows the food that was donated during this Pack 105 annual event, and lets us watch some of the goods sorting on the Community Center's big tables normally used for Saturday night bingo.

He earned community service hours towards the forty required for graduation from Pembroke High School by filming, editing, and creating this video for all to watch and enjoy.
