"I Love Watching Myself on Stage", a PCMS 7th Grader Told Us

CLICK HERE for the one-minute, 6-second excerpt.

It was the first time on stage for some Pembroke Community Middle School musicians on December 4th at this season's initial winter concert in the high school auditorium.  One female performer who saw the camera before the show told us that she just loves watching footage of herself on-stage.
And who doesn't?

This video was filmed by PHS freshman Ethan McCue who himself played saxophone in the same concert last year.

First up is Director Thomas Hovey's Jazz Band playing “A Darker Shade of Gray,” followed by the old Blood, Sweat, and Tears classic, “Spinning Wheel.” Next the 7th Grade Concert Band pounded out an all-time bull-fighting favorite, “Espana Cani.”  You'll recognize the tune, if not the name, when you hear it.

Theresa Fritz and Alex Shepherd also directed their groups of Celtic Music Club, Orchestra, and 8th Grade Concert Band.

Full length versions are available from Pembroke Association for Performing Arts (PAPA), or by calling 781-910-8899.  This version will NOT be on TV, is the only one filmed by Pembroke students, and is adjusted so the sound  is clearer than at the concert itself.
