The Pembroke Titans Girls' JV Volleyball team met the
North Quincy Red Raiders in a best of 3 game set on Friday, October 19th, and
Pembroke Community Media Center volunteers were there to film the action.
Pembroke’s 14-girl JV Titans team doesn't disappoint.
They have speed and fortitude.
In the first set against the Junior Varsity team from
North Quincy, the competiveness between the girls keeps the scores close
through the beginning and middle of the game.
For Pembroke, Rachel Fletcher, Erin Wyngren and Maddy Mazola posted
quite a few digs against North Quincy with Jenny Murphy and Venessa Depetro
assisting, but North Quincy out hit Pembroke in the last few minutes of the
game with a 4 point spread.
In the second game North Quincy came out strong, leading from end to end, winning with a 10 point lead making for a 2 game set.
