Ever wonder how we decide what to film and what to edit? Well, it's not us deciding. It's YOU!
Edited
videos of what YOU want to see.
It all
starts when a volunteer calls or e-mails with his/her idea.
From there we find someone willing to do the filming, and another person
who wants to edit.
It's like a match-making service for video
production.
Sometimes more than one volunteer edits a
piece, as is the case with The First Church in Pembroke Sunday Service. For that show,
church member Heather Lapham edits with two friends, one of whom is Morman and
the other Lutheran.
“Scouting for Food at the
Pembroke Food Pantry” was shot by 14-yr-old John O'Keefe who did all
the filming and editing himself with some of our help.
Parent
Deanna Hatch enjoys filming only, and has captured every Girls' Field Hockey
game played this 2012 season. Other
volunteers edited for her.
Kurt
Binder, owner of the business boat-hut.com, used our Final Cut Pro software and computer to
create a program from footage shot by another volunteer, Janet, back in
September.
Our own DJ
Mattinson is a wiz at grabbing Titans football game action for both home AND
away games.
After a
video is up and running on our web site, www.yourpcmc.com,
a promotional article is written and distributed letting everyone in Pembroke know that your show is
ready to watch. Good job.
There
are so many ways to make it happen. You
can borrow a volunteer, borrow a volunteer and a camera, or borrow just the
camera. No kidding…
Everybody
loves watching themselves, so contact us today.
ALL DONATIONS ARE FULLY TAX-DEDUCTIBLE
